Iridescent gold w/ clear hood, a bit smaller than a lady bug.
It's a Tortoise Beetle, and this one is a Charidotella sp. there are 3 very similar that can look all gold like this, so it's hard for me to call, but I think this one is Charidotella succina, but that is just a guess. See them here:http://bugguide.net/node/view/633889/bgp...
