Raccoon

Description:

White face with black fur surrounding the eyes. Alternating light and dark rings on the tail.

Habitat:

Anywhere there are trees. Woodlands. Rarely out in the open spaces. More and more raccoons are living in the city's where there are plenty of trees and sewers to hide in if felt threatened.

Notes:

I see these creatures every night as they go from porch to porch looking for bowls of cat food. One night I was sitting on my porch and 4 raccoons came running up on my porch. When they saw me they froze and slowly backed away. I couldn't believe it.
