Description:

The chital or "spotted" dear has adapted well to uruguayan´s conditions since its first introduction. This kind of deer can sometimes be seen walking freely in different uruguayan forests that may be found along the countryside.

Habitat:

Woods These deers in particular were spotted at the "Parque Lecocq"'s reserve.

Notes:

According to wikipedia, the word chital derives from the Bengali word Chitral (চিত্রল)/Chitra (চিত্রা), which means "spotted" and it has been named in this way because of the coat´s white spots.
