Description:

Powdery white "skinned," upright. I don't know exact age, these photos taken three days after having initially noticed it.

Habitat:

Dead wood, a section of Hackberry tree cut down 2 years ago.

Notes:

After many days of intermittent rain showers, many types of fungi popping up throughout the yard. This is one I have never seen here before.
