Chinese Serow droppings

Capricornis milneedwardsii

Description:

Fresh serow droppings spotting during golden takin tracking, extremely difficult to spot, I was lucky to have a close encounter with a serow my last day in Foping. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/119...

Habitat:

subtropical valley

Notes:

I spotted these droppings and many others in Foping National nature reserve, such as golden takin and giant panda. The animals were all fairly elusive and hard to spot but their droppings, sometimes very fresh, were a sure giveaway to their presence. I was never so excited to see animal droppings before!
