Carolina Anole

Anolis carolinensis

Description:

Small, usually green, arboreal lizard. It is often mistaken for a chameleon since it changes colors to match its background. This one has started to change to brown and has a brown tail, which does not seem to change. It is displaying its pink throat patch.

Habitat:

A wildlife habitat by a lake.

Notes:

It is late afternoon.

Looks like it lost its tail and it grew back all brown
