Narcissus calcicola Mendonça

Description:

Narcissus calcicola - gray-green-leaved jonquils. Up to five yellow flowers. Native to Central Portugal and as the name implies it grows in calcareous soil, due to the presence of limestone

Habitat:

Ocorre em fendas de afloramentos rochosos calcários e menos frequentemente em clareiras pedregosas, na orla de azinhais ou mesmo sob coberto de bosques

Notes:

CONSERVATION It is listed on Annex II and IV of the Habitats Directive. There are no other conservation measures needed. Source: IUCN Red List of Threatened Species
