Description:

It is a striped yellow and black caterpillar with an orange and black head. It is native to tropical and subtropical Americas. It is the caterpillar of the giant grey sphinx moth. It has very long hairs.

Habitat:

Secondary tropical rainforest. Found in a fig tree with one other plumeria caterpillar.
