Thanks for the I.D.! Unfortunately this is the first time I have seen one of this species. There may be others in the dark phase around, but I have not seen one yet. If I do, I'll be sure to post a picture :)

Indeed its a Lubber...Romalea microptera.
I'm curious..do you ever see the dark phase in Florida?
