Blue-spotted Crow Butterfly

Euploea midamus

Description:

This somewhat battered butterfly just asked to be photographed as it spread its wings to sun itself. When I had seen it flying around I had taken it to be the common crow butterfly...it was not till I saw the blue marks on the wings that I reached for my butterfly guide and then, Google!

Habitat:

My office garden...on the dying dahlias.
