spotted on discolored sand (probably bird poop) on wet beach sand

Notes:

May simply be house flies? An early morning jogger happened by, so this is the only photo.

Appreciate it, ForestDragon. The heads and abdomens seem to match, but the thoraxes don't have the distinct lines.

They look a lot like a species of Flesh Fly:
