Crinoid shrimp/Feather star shrimp

Laomenes tigris

Description:

The crinoid shrimp lives exclusively on feather stars. There are a multitude of different colours and if you look hard enough you can find these shrimp living on many of the feather stars that you pass. The colour will always match the colour of the feather star making these shrimp difficult to spot. Furthermore, largest that I have seen are less then 1cm long making it near impossible to take a picture of since the feather star seems to continually move their feathers. Thus far I have seen about 8 different colour variations ranging all across the spectrum from black to white.

Habitat:

Coral Reef. Feather Stars. Was able to find this one at Twin Rocks.

Notes:

I wasn't 100% sure of the scientific name as there is a lot of contradicting information on the web. Please let me know if you think that I incorrectly identified this shrimp.
