The green bug in the foreground looks like a June bug or Japanese beetle to me.

Thanks Keith. Would you happen to have any recommendations on a ladybug field guide or other type of book to help ID specific ladybug species? All I have right now is the Peterson Field Guide to Insects, which doesn't describe any species, except maybe two-spotted ladybird beetle, in any detail.

Most likely it is a Multicolored Lady Beetle - Harmonia axyridis.
