Description:

There is great sexual dimorphism between males and females, especially in size: males 3-3.5 cm to 7 cm females. Development of a cryptic coloration (camouflage) with different shades of gray and gray-brown, accompanied with the texture of the exoskeleton, with rough look to avoid reflections. Wings practically absent.

Habitat:

High mountain pastures from 2,500 meters, in rocks also but always near grasslands.
