La longitud de la cáscara muy pueda entre 30 mm y 135 mm. La cáscara de color carne se angularmente marcado con algunos grandes, y muchos, líneas, castaños profundos llenos de gente pequeños. El fascículo está teñido de violeta, con máculas castaños. El interior de la abertura y la columela es de color amarillento color carne. A veces, la cáscara es muy débilmente, en términos generales de dos o tres bandas con ceniza azulado
Esta especie marina se produce en la zona de Panamá desde el Golfo de California a Perú .
