This was interesting - a group of different herons and egrets were all roosting together in the same dense patch. Yellow-Crowned Night Heron is featured in the picture, but a Little Blue Heron and an Egret can be seen in the background.
Bayou - swampy waterways with cypress trees, etc. This was a small and dense "island" of trees in the middle of a wide waterway.
