Photo take at -40 ft in a Caribbean reef.Colonies are clusters of relatively thin, vertically projecting leaves, with calices on both sides, with expanses of irregular incrusting expanses. The series of calices are meandroid, with irregular ridges separating them. Colonies may cover several square metres.
Found on tropical shallow waters on coral reef found from Florida Gulf of México and all The Caribbean Sea.
