Brown body, white head, yellow talons, yellow bill.

Habitat:

Claremont, California.

Notes:

Found flying over my house holding a small rodent in talons. It was shocking to see it here in claremont, California.

Adults of both sexes look alike

And it wasn't an adult male. it was ether a Juv or female.

Well... it came closer to the house and couldn't possibly be mistaken for a different bird.
