Spotting

Notes:

When I returned to my lodge at night, I opened the outside door and as I entered the room this very large spider fell from the top of the door onto the welcome mat right behind me. Glad it didn't land on my head:-)

Stephen you didn't say anything wrong. If the spider fell a second sooner it would have landed on my head and I would have been jumping around and screaming, that would have been a sight:-)

Sorry Tom did not mean to mock your concerns. It does look like a Huntsman although enough things are different in Australia that I am always unsure of what countries call theirs

Thanks rams4d, Seema and Stephen. It looks like it might be a huntsman spider and some of them can be dangerous.

Yes, it would have had an even worse fright landing on your head. Glad it was alright and you got some nice shots. :-)
