Kaoru Sakai estimates that there are about 3,200 known species of flower beetles.
Hi Luis. Another great spotting! I think this beetle belongs to the family Scarabidae, but I'm not sure of the species as I am not familiar with your area. Hopefully this can get you on the right track.
