Amazonian vine snake

Oxybelis fulgidus

Description:

Emerald green, slender snake, rather common among the lower branches of trees in the Amazon forests. Length: up to 2 m.

Notes:

In this particular case, I assisted at a scene of cannibalism, one of the snakes eating the other. Both snakes were about the same length. I wonder if this is usual or just an exception?
