Northern Walkingstick

Diapheromera femorata

Description:

An herbivorous insect that camouflages itself by appearing to be a twig

Habitat:

Shrubby understory of secondary deciduous forest

Notes:

This one was pretty large so I'm guessing female, although I'm not sure if it has enough green on it to be a female
