Eastern Tiger Swallowtail

Papilio glaucus

Description:

Large butterfly with yellow and black wings. It has blue spots on the lower inside margin of wings and blue markings on the back of the wings as well.

Habitat:

Found in the warm, humid climate in Alabama. Usually found around a bush in my backyard but this one flew in my screened in back porch, however, I safely removed it.
