Red, Small, Big Beak, and it seemed to be cleaning itself.

Habitat:

Northern Cardinals tends to stay within woodlands, but don't be surprised if the show up in you garden.

Quiet and comb was and didn't move is i approached it.

Lovely spotting! When I lived in Ontario, it was exciting to see these brightly coloured guys :)

Beautiful male Northern Cardinal! I have suggested a species ID for you, as it is the only Cardinal in the family Cardinalidae in Rhode Island.
