Seven-spotted Lady Beetle

Coccinella septempunctata

Description:

Its elytra are of a red colour, but punctuated with three black spots each, with one further spot being spread over the junction of the two, making a total of seven spots.

Habitat:

Second lady beetle on a wooden deck under the water hose.

Notes:

Both flew off later in the morning.

Thank you again for your suggestion. That is the scientific name I have on this lady bug. Here in Texas the common name is Seven Spotted Lady Beetle, named for the number of spots on the elytra.
