Cernuella virgata
Cernuella virgata, also known as Helicella virgata, common name, the "vineyard snail", is a species of small, air-breathing land snail, a pulmonate gastropod mollusk in the family Hygromiidae, the hairy snails and their allies. This species of snail makes and uses love darts.
Found on some wild flowers on the shoreline.

Oh it was incredible, in a lovely house right on the Ganges River with plenty of butterflies, birds and bugs!
yes sorry for the delay... haven't had internet connection (except when I borrowed someone's dongle for a short time) during the last month in the Himalayas. Trying to catch up now...
