The spider had woven its web on a maize plant. It was moving only when disturbed and immediately got back into the same resting position- seen in the pictures- as it was before.

Habitat:

Lower Himalayan region.

Lovely Spotting Harsha .... this is a Neoscona sp ......Family Araneidae
