Anaxyrus terrestris
This Southern toad was unintentionally evicted from his burrow by an air-conditioner repairman. He croaked and protested while the repairman was there, and hopped back into his burrow as soon as he was gone. I don't know a lot about amphibians, but cranial crests helped with this ID.
Found references to another scientific name, Bufo terrestris.
