Phelsuma laticauda
Bright green to yellowish-green in color. Around 4¾ inches (12 cm) long on average. The top of the neck area is spotted with bright yellow (resembling gold dust). Reddish to brownish bars on the gecko’s back above the hind legs, as well as on the head region in front of and behind the eyes. (http://www.hawaiianencyclopedia.com/poly...)
Active during the day, usually found in or on trees and houses. Was released in Hawaii in 1974, and is originally native to Madagascar and surrounding regions.
Found hanging out in an orchid store.
