Luna Moth

Description:

Luna moths are mostly a light green with spots on them that look like eyes. They are one of the larger moths and mostly come out at night.

Habitat:

You will mostly find the Luna moth in diciduos woodland in North America. Their are also some in Canada but not as many.

Notes:

The larva feed off of foliage of the trees like birch, willow, alder, walnut, persimmon, and sweet gum.
