Actias luna
Luna moths are mostly a light green with spots on them that look like eyes. They are one of the larger moths and mostly come out at night.
You will mostly find the Luna moth in diciduos woodland in North America. Their are also some in Canada but not as many.
The larva feed off of foliage of the trees like birch, willow, alder, walnut, persimmon, and sweet gum.
