Breynia sp.
As suggested, I think this might be Breynia sp. One species, Breynia oblongifolia, commonly known as coffee bush, grows naturally in Australia and New Guinea.
Spotted growing in coastal mixed lowland equatorial rainforest (freshwater swamp forest/sago swamp).

What a fun plant! Can't wait to see what it turns out to be ...
Now that looks promising!
Another possibiity might be Breynia (still in the Phyllanthaceae / Euphorbiaceae as is Sauropus) http://backofbeyondthent.blogspot.com.au...
Thanks for the tip, Jason.
I'm sure this plant is in genus Sauropus.. :)
