Description:

This plant is native to Mexico and Central America, however it is widely distributed in South America. The leaves are heart-shaped and the stems are covered with brown hairs. The flowers are trumpet-shaped, predominantly blue to purple or white, 3–6 cm diameter.

I looked at the Wikipedia page for Salta, Argentina, especially Salta's climate. The monthly average high temperatures seem surprisingly mild for a location so close to the Andes Mountains! That being said, -25 South latitude is sub-tropical, right? Also, I don't speak Spanish. In contrast, you seem to speak (or write) English quite well.
