Snowy Owl

Habitat:

In a rural area just off an interstate highway in Virginia. This owl is one of the well documented 2013-2014 irruption of juvenile snowy owls.

Notes:

This bird us using highway signs, trees, and silos as roosts. It is also spending time on low percehs and the ground in a cornfield.
