Description:

Golden Foxtail Moss is shaggy, mostly yellow-green, occasionally darker green, shiny mats of foxtails. Stems creeping and branching irregularly.

Habitat:

A common weedy moss on soil, humus, rock, and rotten logs. Also on the base of trees.
