Beetle

Description:

This small Beetle, was about three sixteenth of an inch long. It had a head, thorax, and abdomen. It had two antennae. It had two compound eyes. It had six legs. It was shiny black in color. It had two pairs of wings. The top wings, are called forewings. ( elytra ). The bottom wings are called hindwings. It had ridged forewings. Many grooves run lengthwise down the forewings. The forewings are shiny black in color. It is medium brown in color, underneath this Beetle. This Beetle can fly.

Habitat:

Resting on a wall, inside my house.

Notes:

March 6, 2,015. I found this small Beetle, resting on a wall, inside my house. I touched this small Beetle with my finger, and it flew to the floor. I then picked up this small Beetle with my fingers, and gently placed this small Beetle on a table. I then took some photos of this small Beetle....This small Beetle can fly.
