Description:

About 20cm.long green coloured bird. Head and nape are brick-red, chin and throat are yellow, a short black band on the lower of throat. Tail is lack of Central pin-feather like other Merops sps. It eats flying insects-bees, wasps, dragonflies etc.

Habitat:

In my tea garden.
