Spotting

Description:

Beige, bracket-type fungus growing on the herbacious ground about 5 ft from a large oak tree; about 18 inches in height (see 5'2" person and green acorn on top of fungi for relative scale).

Habitat:

On grassy area of historic estate, not far from a road and building.

Notes:

Grayish-white spore dust surrounding fruiting body.
