A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Eudocimus albus
White bodies, long red legs for wading, long red decurved bill for poking and prodding for insects and amphibians on land and in shallow water. The tips of it's wings are black, which look like the rump when wings are folded.
Shallow waters, such as shorelines, and wetlands, as well as lawns and grass.
Very common in Florida.
