Lophiaris oerstedii

Description:

This small hard waxy orchid blooms in February, during the dry season, within the tropical forest unique to southeastern Mexico and the Reserve of the Biosfera de Calakmul. The flowers are on the ends of long stems up to 30 cm in length, which grow from the orchid base of leaves. Family Orchidaceae, Subfamily Oncidiinae.

Habitat:

In a tree in the forest, Reserva de la Biosfera de Calakmul.

Pretty sure Lophiaris sp. or hybrid. Taxonomy of these oncidium alliance orchids seems to be very chaotic at the moment so not sure about anything more specific.
