Rock hyrax

Procavia capensis

Description:

The color varies with locality, so it is difficult giving a general description. You can usually find them by searching for white patches on rock, which consist in their droppings.

Habitat:

rocky formations.

Notes:

It's not rare seeing their puffy faces watching you while shreeking and then dissapeare, but when it's hot enough they lie in the sun without running away. The first photo was made in a different spot, but not too far away :)
