Cardinalis cardinalis
Show off. Loves attention. Like hanging around my compost or freshly pruned garden. His brownish red lady friend is was a bit more daring in showing her face to us humans.
Normally we have a chat function, but the company that supported it went out of business. There is a facebook group (Project Noah Worldwide) you can request to join, and it's a great place to ask questions! Or if you aren't on facebook, asking questions in the comments is fine too, just have to hope someone sees them! The FAQ page is a great place to start, but we are more than happy to answer any questions if there is anything you are confused about
No worries! All is good. I just put a lot of work Into uploading all my photos. I am very new to this site. I had much excitement to view my 1st spottings and all I seen were lots of my photographs were deleted even when I cropped people out. I am slowly learning.
Desmond is young and did not know what it meant, that's all he meant by that comment. This site certainly welcomes nice comments. Your pics would have been removed for a reason, there should be a comment on them explaining why they were removed. Information on what is and is not appropriate to upload to this site can be found in our FAQ, www.projectnoah.org/faq
Positive thinkers. Thank you for your manners. This is a site of serious hardworking people who strive to make it as scientific and accurate as possible. People usually show up after work . Different countries have different clocks and so it may not be possible to recive prompt replies!!
It means thank you! I'm being nice... Should I not do that lol seems this site is very fickle. Lots of my pics are shutdown.
Northern cardinals are beautiful! We see them regularly here at our feeders and in the woods.
The males are bright red with a black face and reddish bill. The females are a pale brown with reddish on the crest, wings and tail. They also have a black face and an orangish bill.
