A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Phrynosoma platyrhinos
This one was a juvenile that was very easy to catch because he was slightly injured by something (tail looked broken with a little blood). They like to bury themselves in standby scooting left and right, using the flat sides of their abdomen to dig in, where they lay in wait to ambush small insects.
