Description:

There are many species of Galerina and they have a range from the north to islands in the Southern Oceans. They like to grow in mossy spaces that are moist or growing in fallen wood. There are a few species in the genus that re highly poisonous and others that are hallucinogenic.

Habitat:

Most Galerina species prefer mossy, damp environments.

Notes:
