Description:

Garden plant with huge single flowers as you can see. Cup shaped. quite distinctive and stand out. Petals are fused together to form a cup shaped corolla with lobes. Classification: Plantae, Angiosperms,eudicots, Asterids, Solanales, Solanaceae. Solanaceae is a very important family and includes amongst others tomato, brinjals, nightshades.

Habitat:

Cool, climes of Cameron Highlands, moist, wet, climate, fertile soil. This is endemic to Mexico and South America. Obviously, it seems to have been naturalised here.
