A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
This may be Nephila sp. which have legs with tips that point inward. a specialization for weaving their impressive webs. or perhaps Cyrtophora sp. They are perhaps aposematically colored, "allowing for warning and repelling of potential predators." They "are widespread in warmer regions throughout the world, with species in Australia, Asia, Africa (including Madagascar), and America."
Spotted on its web along a survey transect in secondary coastal lowland mixed freshwater swamp forest/sago swamp forest.
