Red Pierrot Larva

Description:

The caterpillar is about 8mm long and is pale yellow in colour. The body is covered with tiny white setae. Family : Lycaenidae Host plant: Internal tissues of leaves of Kalanchoe pinnata. Status: Common

Notes:

The dark spot appearing in the middle of its body is a piece of dirt or maybe some damage occurred to it. Originally the caterpillar is pale yellow in colour throughout.
