We have very few studies about them, and it is hard to identify, there are lichens, briophytas and another large group of Epiphylas.

Epifilas, Is a group of plants that specialize on growing on top of leaves, they are epiphytics. So all Epiphylas are Epiphytic but not necessarely an Epiphytic is an Epiphila.

Well I guess epifilas is the spanish word for epiphyte.

I mean they are epiphytes (growing upon another plant, not in the soil), but a very specific epiphyte that only grows specifically on the leaves of plants.
