In the first picture you can see an epiphytic fern leave all cover by epiphylas...of many diferent kinds.

We have very few studies about them, and it is hard to identify, there are lichens, briophytas and another large group of Epiphylas.
Epifilas, Is a group of plants that specialize on growing on top of leaves, they are epiphytics. So all Epiphylas are Epiphytic but not necessarely an Epiphytic is an Epiphila.
Well I guess epifilas is the spanish word for epiphyte.
I mean they are epiphytes (growing upon another plant, not in the soil), but a very specific epiphyte that only grows specifically on the leaves of plants.
