Description:

Wings about 1 3/4 inches long, small hook on the outside back end of the wing. This moth is very furry yellow. I was thinkinh it was from genus geometridae, but couldnt find anything resembling it, so Imay be way off. Please help!

The difference is the colour of the moth's head in your spotting is yellow. It is dark in the reference...but the two do look very similar. Take a look.
