Vervet monkey

Description:

Lightly built, with long arms and legs. The body is pale grizzled grey, tinged yellow or reddish down the middle of the back. The underpants and inner sides of the libs are white, the hair around the anus and bas of the tail is reddish brown.(Smithers' mammals of southern africa a field guide. fourth edition)

Habitat:

wide variety of woodland and tree savanna.

Notes:

They are very sociable and often try and steel your goods, but alwas stay at a safety distance. This was standing close to the parking of the park and slowly went to drink in a puddle.
