Gracilinanus agilis
This small brown marsupial, with dark hairs around the bulging eyes, measuring about 10cm in total (more than half corresponding to the tail), was observed on a rural road in the midst of the Atlantic Forest. Probably doesn´t weight more than 20g.

What a wonderful spotting. Such an amazing creature, and so cute. I was very fortunate to spot a very, very distant cousin on the other side of the Pacific Ocean. Marsupials are such extraordinary creaturess. Congrats on your SOTD.
